Ronald F. Randall, born into a musical family on 10/9/49 in Berkeley, California, is a primarily self-taught composer. Although relatively new to voice as a serious instrument, he brings a wealth of musical experience to support his development. He was a professional French hornist for the majority of his life and has performed with orchestras throughout California.  He chose to pursue developing his voice just over three years ago when continuing his career as a hornist was no longer an option. He is also well known locally as a composer and choral director. He is a regular member of the Sonora Master Chorale, the Choir Director of First Congregational Church of Murphys, U.C.C., the director of the Sonora Hills Chorus, and an instrumental teaching assistant at Connections Performing Arts Academy. He has also appeared in the Sound of Music and Baby at SRT, Bye Bye Birdie at MAC and 110 in the Shade at Golden Gaslight Theater. Among his compositions are works of various length for numerous instrumental groups and vocal combinations, from solo voice, string quartet and woodwind quintet through full symphony orchestra with chorus; including his Symphony in B Minor and his soon to be completed Requiem for a Peacemaker for chorus, multiple vocal soloists and full orchestra.
